This tree brings back a childhood memory for me. There used to be a weeping willow tree on the walk I made to school everyday. It wasn't as tall as this one and it's branches touched the ground. I always wanted to hide under those branches and watch the world go by instead of heading off to school.
I am glad you included that link. I do remember that photo, now that my memory has been refreshed. But it looks entirely different now. Very lush and green.
That is some tree!

ReplyDeleteWonderful tree and what a difference to its winter look!
ReplyDeleteEin großartiger Baum. Nicht wiederzuerkennen im Vergleich zum Winterfoto! :)
ReplyDeleteQuite a contrast between winter and now, Karl! Terrific captures in both cases.
ReplyDeleteThat tree is magnificent!

ReplyDeleteOh wow! It looks like it had such a shock in the winter shot Karl :) Love weeping willows, a romantic tree, but not in winter :)
