Bolzano is a bicycle friendly city




Bike parking, bike pump and free electricity power for bikes near the train station in Bolzano / Bozen.

  1. Berlin is also quite bicycle friendly. Almost every street has some sort of dedicated lane. It's still quite dangerous though - especially for bikes going straight and cars turning right who don't look!

    We've got a whole lot of bike paths here through the city. Cyclists take advantage of them.

  6. That is wonderful, Karl! Some cities in the U.S., including Ocala, are trying to become more bike-friendly, but it's an uphill battle. And our cities are so spread out it makes bicycling to work or school difficult. Without the necessary bike paths, it becomes very dangerous to ride on the main roads here in our town. A shame!

  7. I rode a bike to work for almost twenty years, but today there are too many idiots with a bicycle who thinks that our sidewalks are their bike paths... I hope up there it is somewhat better!

  8. I think more and more cities are getting bike friendly Karl.. cyclists and motorists have to learn to live together in peace :)

  9. I guess Copenhagen is the city I have seen with most bikes until now.
