  1. Love these shots... chestnuts are such a rich burnt sienna color... I collect a bowl full every fall just to look at!

  2. Chestnuts aren't as common here in the states as in European countries. I cooked with them once but only as an ingredient not the main feature so I honestly don't know what they really taste like. They are beautiful to look at both on the tree and off.

  5. A nice series of photos, Karl. I don't see many chestnuts around here. Some chestnut species have been decimated by a blight in the US.
