Extreme agriculture in the Martell Valley

  1. Extreme and beautiful.

Do the farmers get one long leg and one short leg after working for years on such slopes? LOL

  2. Dina's comment is hysterical. I was thinking this terrain is a real challenge to both lungs and legs. I like Dina's comment better.

  3. I bet it's hard work to plow fields with so many ups and downs. But, the patchwork view in front of the mountains makes a gorgeous photo.

  4. Agriculture is a hazardous business at the best of times. Farmers have to worry about too much rain, too little rain, frosts, severs weather, insects, weeds, and these farmers have to worry about avalanches also. But does make for great photos.

  6. Stunning images Karl, the rural foreground and the mountainous backdrop couldn't be more different, yet compliment each other so dramatically.
