Of course as a spectator and not as a player.
The event was held in a beautiful meadow near the village, in the historic atmosphere of the Churburg (castle), the ruins Lichtenberg and Fürstenburg and the Marienberg monastery.

Your pictures are so fascinating because here we would never see such things. Someday, somewhere, I hope to see a medieval festival in person.

We are in the midst of having reenactments of the War of 1812 - a far cry from Medieval!

ReplyDeleteIt's an incredible site and sight! I wonder where all these artifacts come from...are they for sale? You could spend a long time going through these various stalls and tents.
