Your first snow photos are beautiful. Snow can be wonderful, but it sometimes out stays its welcome. The winter season is just beginning...we are currently on the road heading south, away from possible snow.
What a wonderful blog you have! I scrolled back from the top quite a ways and enjoyed every post and every picture. Didn't want to bore you by leaving a million comments, so I kind of closed my eyes and picked this post to leave a comment. This is just a beautiful place -- with the snow sprinkling it looks exactly like a Christmas village model such as people put in their homes for decoration == an absolute perfect ideal village!
I know very little about your part of the world and I look forward to visiting often to learn more (and to see more of your wonderful pictures). Thank you for sharing.

You are so good at finding the right light to illustrate a scene. Three winners!
