I had the same reaction as Dina. It looks to be drowning in green. It's great to be back and see your blog again. I was sort of in your neighborhood last week. One night we stayed in Ardez, Switzerland. The Alps were fabulous of course.
I don't know what that 2nd sign says, but hiding a stop sign behind shrubbery is not a particularly good idea! Unless, of course, you're a cop and want to give people tickets for running a stop sign! :)
These are quite funny. Maybe the STOP is saying to the plant, Stop growing.
