    One thing about living in a digital age is that you have to learn how to read a sundial. ;-)

    Thanks for the good wishes, Karl. Your sundial makes me think about how fast the years as mother and then as grandmother pass.

    When I was young, we had a sundial mounted on a column in the back yard. I have seen very few since then. This one is very appealing. I wonder if young people today know how to tell the time on a sundial . . .
