And here another Poem in Ladin language by Roland Verra, read the translation below.

Adrovi n toch de ciel,
mé n pitl fregul de lumm...

Perchël sons inò tlo
ti cialan nmaruià
a chësta ega chieta,
na flistra de ciel
tumeda sun la tiera...

Ne ei plu paroles
per te cunté mi legrëzia,
mi uedli ie arnaghei
tl culëur,
n pitl toch de ciel
arsì te mi cuer...

*****

I need a piece of sky,
just a little bit of light...

That's why I'm here again
looking astounded
to this still water,
a chunk of heaven
sunk into earth...

I have no words
to tell you my happiness,
my eyes are drowned
in colour,
in deep blue colour,
a tiny scrap of sky,
sunk into my heart...

  9. That is a fine looking, formally dressed family, but they seem a bit stiff.

  10. A lovely poem, and the statues have such a life like look to them.
