The season is breeding
a new springtime

the blossoms sweat with pitch
on the naked branches

and the wind is murmuring
unheard-of-stories to me

but nonetheless
my heart is empty...

  4. Gorgeous flowers, but how do they grow through the wall. I've got weeds growing in cracks in my driveway - I keep poisoning them but they come back in no time at all.

Love the poem. I've got a book of poetry coming out in a few weeks. Hope you'll consider buying it.

  5. I don't recognize those hearty plants on that wall, but they are beautiful. Is the Ladin language derived from Latin?

  9. That is wonderful the way the flowers grow from the wall, Karl!
I see a flavour of the Latin that I remember from high school in Ladin. Quite interesting to read about on line.
