Fascinating! It looks like Jesus, the child, is giving carpentry instructions. That was a common theme in the first century C.E., especially in some of the gospels that didn't make it into the New Testament.
I thought St. Peter would be teaching how to fish not to work wood. But if he presents you with wood, you follow his lead. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

ReplyDeleteSt. Peter is the name of the village, the man on the mural is Saint Joseph, the husband of Mary, mother of Jesus.
