UIAA Ice Climbing Worldcup in Rabenstein

The Ice Climbing World Cup is the most important series of competitions organised every year by the international association UIAA.
















From 27 to 29 January 2017 the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup pitched its tents for the fifth time in Rabenstein / Corvara - Passiria Valley.

    This is new to me. And I have to ask: Why do people do this stuff. It looks cold and dangerous! Don't they have homes with fireplaces where they could sit, stay warm, and enjoy a warm brew?

    It is amazing what humans can do, at least some humans. Don't think I know anyone who could or would do this, but it is still interesting.
