When I was in Key West, Florida, chickens and roosters were walking around everywhere but I never got a photo of one that I liked. Apparently years ago someone killed a chicken that got out of its cage in a particularly cruel way, so they passed a local law letting chickens and roosters wander free and imposing penalties on anyone who harmed them.
