The Sanctuary of Drei Brunnen at Trafoi

The legend tells that in the 13 Century the shepherd Moritz saw three rivulets break at this point from the rock. Each of them wore a cross with it. Two of the crosses he could catch, the third was washed away.

The old legends and the effect they have--it is all fascinating.
Thanks for these church pictures and the history.

How beautifully ornate inside Karl, I wasn't expecting that as the outside is quite modest. Beautiful pictures and story,

An interesting legend. This inside of this church is so ornate and beautifully decorated while the outside is so simple and serene. Beautiful photos of this place.

Interesting story. There was probably a real event that was embellished into the legend.
