Amazing how they made such art out of so much trash!
Great shots of this exhibit! I especially love the Mondrian inspired shoes.
An excellent idea and some very funny works. The only risk is that someone may take this for real contemporary art placing it in a museum, which they deserve more than many other 'installations'.
Some of these are extremely clever! I also love the color-block shoes!
Hmmm...sometimes trash is trash is trash is trash and no amount of colorful descriptions can change that! I don't think the Louvre need be challenged by these interesting concoctions. :-)
Very interesting project. If the school kids did some of those sculptures, they have a good eye for art.
The kind of Mondrian shoes is my favourite. Cool!
We have a friend who creates art from found objects. He calls it "found art." He makes framed wall sculptures from the wire bristles that fall off street sweepers. I am saving all of my hearing aid batteries for him to use some day.
I love the way young people think, we really have to stop being such a 'throw away' society..what a great way to bring attention to a serious problem, well shown Karl.
I like it!
It is crazy, creative and FUN ART!
