The Vernagt-Stausee




The Vernagt-Stausee is a reservoir in the Schnalstal. 
The water of this artificial lake is used to generate electricity.
The Lake itself is a nice attraction for local people and tourists.


This is my contribution to the Mid-month theme for City Daily Photo - Festival of the Solstice

It is idyllic! If you wanted to create a perfect mountain lake, this is what you would make! I hope there are nice places to stay when people come to visit.
