"Friendly postman" would be an oxymoron here, I am glad it is different up there!
Our postman are brave souls during our wicked winter weather. Ours at least are enclosed in a truck that carries the mail that they then need to hand deliver, block by block. Yours looks like his scooter might be a bit chilly!!
He's very smart to wear those bright colours! I bet riding the streets there can be very dangerous!
I can see that he has quite a lot of mail to deliver.
That's quite a rain suit. Our daughter's husband delivers mail out in Colorado. Tough job in the winter time. Super theme day post, Karl!
Quite a different kind of uniform than what we see here in letter carriers.
Our letter carriers here ride regular pedal bikes. Guess he needs the motor to get up all those hills! :)

It is fascinating to see an Italian postal carrier. In the parts of the USA that I know, they wear gray uniforms and drive trucks.
Gee, in my town we don't even HAVE postmen. We have to go to the centrally located distribution boxes and collect our mail ourselves.
It's nice when people are friendly. Makes the the happy day,especially for a photographer.
He looks weather proof.
Now there's a fashion statement.
His fluoro High Vis outfit really stands out.
