We have these things, too. Don't know whether they look the same, though. I think any future war should be fought with snow cannons and the politicians and their families should position themselves on the front lines. Most of them have cold heart and icy veins anyway! :)
I wouldn't think you would need this where you are. I do remember when a neighbor hired one of these to pour snow all over his house for a holiday party.
While natural snow is better for skiing, these snow machines help keep a layer on snow on the slopes, and can provide an excellent base when it snows again. Strong images as usual.

Spectacular terrain around the ski slopes. We have those here at ski resorts as well to get things started early.

We use such snow cannons often, but I usually think that in Alp there has to be enough snow :)
