I like it! The Saint Christophorus reminds me of when Michael Jackson held his baby out from the balcony at the Adlon hotel here in Berlin. ;-)

Very intriguing. I'm sure that these paintings reflect to some degree their degree of saintliness. I'm always surprised that there are so many saints of which I've never heard!
I was reminded of an old rhyme "Heiliger Sankt Florian / Verschon' mein Haus / Zünd' and're an!"
Then I found that there is even a wikipedia article on "Sankt-Florian-Prinzip"
