I think painted houses are fantastic. And I'm amazed at how well the paintings often hold up despite being outside.
The barns in the wall does not look too good, but by repairing you loose the murals.
It must be crevices or cracks of course but my translator did a bit strange. Sorry.
They are beautiful - I wonder how old they are. The colours are so soft and pretty.
Lovely one Karl.
These beautiful paintings never cease to amaze me...
Very nice Karl.
They are beautiful Karl, I was wondering like Stuart how they manage to stand the ravages of the weather.
You have so many houses with such paintings in your area. Are there artists who specialize in such artwork? And I also find it interesting that most of these paintings deal with religious symbols.
They are very nice and sure beat graffiti! :)
It is lovely - especially like how the windows are framed and now part of the whole display.
Somehow the murals and the building with its windows fit perfectly.
Lovely!
So beautifully painted.
I do love these paintings on the houses, Karl!
i love the paintings on the houses that you show! so beautiful!
No doubt once home to a devout family.
It's like something you'd expect in a church instead of on a house.
I always love these shots, Karl. Were the paintings originally expressions of the house owner's piety? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
