A strange tree

An older power pole in the forest of the Martell Valley.

  1. Wow, so many insulators on that pole. There in the forest, the wood fits in so much nicer than the big metals one.
I remember wooden utility poles in the alleys of my childhood Chicago.

  3. Terrific capture, Karl. It doth look out of place in the midst of the forest, though!

  7. Never seen a pole like this one but I find it rather attractive.

  8. Those glass insulators wouldn't last five minutes here in the States. Alas!
