Ready for winter

  1. A warm cozy fire will be reward for all the work of splitting wood and stacking it.
    I love doing such work.

    What's that on the top? Looks like an animal.

  5. They say a wood pile warms twice -- splitting and piling the wood, then burning it. It looks as if there's an animal presiding over the firewood empire. . .?
