The new apples are ready to be eaten

They look great. We are having a problem with apples this year. Last spring was warm early, so the apple trees blossomed. Then it froze and the buds were killed. So, this fall, the apple crop is 20 - 50 percent lower than usual, depending on which state. Those apples look superb.

This is a most unusual apple orchard. The trees are very small, but loaded with apples. They are also grown close together making them look more like a vineyard than an orchard. Don't know the variety of apple shown here, but they look fantastic. Many be time for me to make an apple dessert.
