I never would have guessed. I think of Kiwis as being more tropical.

I think we grow kiwis in south Florida, but I've never eaten one whole. I've had slices of them in fruit salads and thought they are very good. In this photo they look like fuzzy little balls to hang on a Christmas tree! :-)

here in South Tyrol is a very common fruit, is also cultivated, but with the first day the temperature drops below freezing,fall all the leaves and you have to collect the kiwi, otherwise you have to throw.This year I have collected the 15 October.
