Benches around the Durnholz Lake

The Durnholz Lake is a small alpine lake at the end of the Sarntal.
You can walk around, ( about an 1 hour walk ), sit down on one (or more)
of the many new wooden benches and admire the wonderful landscape.

I didn't count them, but there are surely 15-20 new benches to sit down and relax.

  6. This lake is simply breath-taking! Just gorgeous and the reflections are marvelous! What I like about the benches is that fact they are made from the natural resources in the area, and that they are different - at least the ones you showed us. What a great place this would be to spend an afternoon!

  16. Karl, what a beautiful lake! I like the benches, but it is the setting -- the lake and hillside -- that most captures my heart.

  19. So gorgeous! It would probably take me 2 hours to do the lake round and I'd have to test every bench. :)
