These are not usual signs here in South Tyrol, these are special signs which are part of a larger Art Project in the municipality of Lana - Adige Valley.
The German Artist Werner Ratering played with the words, adding a dot, two dots, an arrow, a star or another sign, so the meaning of each sentence has changed, even if the words are almost the same.

Schon da - Already here
Schon da? - Already here?
Schön da - Beautiful here
Schon da --> - Already here -->
Schon da * (in Gedanken) - Already here * (in thought)
Schon da ! - Already here !
Schon das - Protect this
I'm not sure that I have photographed all the signs, but I think I did...

Ah, the beauty of punctuation and language, especially Deutsch!
I'm glad he didn't end the series with "Genug schon!"
Haha! Its all in the punctuation hey Karl, very clever series of shots.
A very interesting installation. They look like official signs.
That's amazing and most intriguing. I thought English was a difficult language, but this is scary! I could get in real trouble if meanings could be changed so easily with a few punctuation marks!
My German is too poor for this, but I find the idea interesting and unusual!
Such a cool post! Very clever, Karl.
Very witty, my favorite is "Schön da" - lest we forget! ;-)
I know the feeling..... German translation is not that easy.
Very cool !!
