I'll start today with a new series of "modern" murals, I call them "Industrial murals" because they are located in the industrial zone of Bolzano.
In South Tyrol this kind of murals is not well seen and not much appreciated, they are considered coming from a foreign culture and you can find them only in Bolzano and in the outskirts of a few other "bigger" cities, but not in our villages.

This series continues next Monday. All pictures (78) were made in one afternoon of March 2014 in the industrial zone of Bolzano.

Most of them do not appeal to me. But I rather like the stylized cartoon boy.
That's quite a variety of paintings.
More than the murals, I am enjoying to see your industrial zone.
They do not appeal to me either, but I can tell someone put quite a bit of work into them.
I'm of the same mind as Halcyon. This looks more like plain ol' ugly graffiti to me. Were all of these commissioned by the owners of the buildings?
Got to admit, though, they are interesting as is your industrial zone.
What a colorful collection of street art. Some of it takes a lot of talent!
Some of these I like, most of the I don't, but the real story is that Bolzano has an industrial zone, a fact that I have never contemplated before!
I guess that "art is in the eye of the beholder" applies here.
I quite like that woman! Wish it was a red flower in her hair though. ;-)
I quite like that third one.
I am not a fan of graffiti. I'm sorry they are hitting Bolzano, but glad that (so far) the villages have been spared.
I love murals.
