Used have a pomegranate tree in my backyard. Seeds were kind of sour!

Many years ago when but a child we moved from bitter cold Duluth, Minnesota to nice and warm Los Angeles, California. And we had a pomegranate tree in our yard. I had never seen one before and used the fruit as a football. Later, I learned they were good to eat. Thanks for bringing back some good memories with your fine photo!

A fine composition. I don't know if I have ever eaten a pomegranate.

Lovely basket too. Is that the kind you can wear on your back to carry things up and down the mountain?
