Knottnkino

The Knottnkino or Knottenkino (Rock Cinema) is an installation of 30 weatherproof cinema chairs made from steel and chestnut wood on a rock at 1465 meters above sea level above the village of Vöran / Verano. From the comfortable cinema seats you can overlook the entire Adige Valley with the basin of Merano. Behind rise majestically the Dolomites and on the horizon the summits of the Oetztal Alps and the Texel Group Nature Park.

Wow, what an idea. Those chairs seem to have a life of their own.
One could get dizzy looking down from such heights, good there is somewhere to sit and a chair to hold on to. :)

I didn't see those chairs when I was there but I do recognize that spectacular view. The chairs are a perfect place to relax and take it all in.

I believe you, Sharon, these chairs are outside the main tourist routes...

Eye-catching beautiful !
That view is better than the theater. The chairs are needed, as the landscape could look at all day and evening. But a very special group.

Beautiful photos. What a great idea to have theater seats to see this breath taking scenery. Sun rises and sunsets must make for great viewing pleasure.
