I really don't know how this style is called... I call it "penguin look"...

Oh good grief! I'll bet they went to a lot of trouble to effect this "penguin" look, too! Sheesh. But they make for a fun photograph!

I would say that is a very good name for it. Why would anyone want to make it more difficult to walk and maneuver?
