Ferragosto
Today is Ferragosto. This is the main holiday period in Italy.
The streets and highways are crowded with cars, so it is better to choose a quiet place.

Beautiful spot!
Well, I think you've found the perfect spot to escape the maddening crowd! The water looks high; I wonder if the road floods when the water rises? It's a beautiful, bucolic scene that makes me want to sit on that bench and go "Ahhhhhh!"
Karl, I will take one end of that bench and you can take the other, and we will turn it around so it faces the water!
