That's lovely, like an abstract painting!
I agree with Ciel, beautiful image..it's a bit like tracks on the beach first thing in the morning before the crowds mess it all up.
Perhaps the first skaters on the lake after a fresh snow feel a little extra pressure because they will leave tracks.
Can be dangerous going skating on an unploughed frozen lake, but it made for an interesting photo. We have seen several accidents on our ices in the last few weeks.
Somebody was having fun. Were you able to decipher any coded messages from those tracks?
It looks like someone was doing some very fancy moves on those skates.
Took me a minute before I figured out the wonderful, abstract designs here. Someone knows how to figure skate. Great photo, Karl.
Fantastic. You followed some ice dancers onto the ice!
