I opened the door...
We call this a "Plumpsklo".

Ahha, your eco-toilet is know in Australia as a "long-drop" and can still be found in outback towns. I grew up with just such a curiosity.

Don't see many outhouses anymore. But I like this one and it's located in the woods so would be great for people hiking. So many other curiosities, too. I wonder what they are all about?

Wonderful pictures for Theme Day Karl! My great grandparents had a "plumpsklo" when I was little, but we just called it the outhouse. I was always afraid there might be a snake lurking in there, so I was really glad when they finally got indoor plumbing!

I guess there are still people who live places here in Norway, where they still have "utedo" as we call little rooms with a heart window on the doors. It used to be a place that photos of the Royal family where put up...
That 'restroom' as we would say in the USA or 'loo' in the UK looks interesting. Like the cute little additional curiosities too.
We have a lot of those toilettes in holiday houses in Finland. We call it "puu-cee"
